About the Team
This role sits within our Revenue function, in the sales team and plays a crucial role in the delivery of bid activities as part of our overall growth strategy. The team will be working across the public and private sector to ensure we're differentiating future tender submissions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional with bid management experience to make a significant, long-lasting contribution to a high-profile business, at a key point in its development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the public sector bid strategy, whilst also developing the strategy for the private sector
- Work across both Perkbox and Vivup to bring together our teams and bid / tender ways of working as a combined entity
- Lead and develop a team of three bid writers, supporting with the end-to-end bid and tender submission process and sharing knowledge of external business environments and competitors in order to differentiate our offering
- Taking a lead on framework management
- Work closely with our Governance and Compliance team, alongside other teams in the business
- Manage the handover process from tender to pitch stage, ensuring the Sales team is briefed appropriately
- Work closely with the Implementation and Client Success teams to continue delivering a positive client experience
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of the client procurement process and of external factors impacting tender submissions
- Bid management experience – supporting a team and knowledge of complete bid Lifecyle
- Sales Competency - Identify customer needs, sell the virtues of our products and identify new products to address customer and market requirements.
- Organisation - Self-motivated and ability to prioritise busy workload in a fast-paced environment. Good team player with a willingness to collaborate across the business to achieve solutions
- Influencing, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Energetic and self-motived
- Willing to adapt and take on new challenges, demonstrating innovation and initiative to suggest new ideas or ways of working
- People Management Experience
The Interview Process
Our interview process involves 4 main stages:
- Application
- Short call with a member of the TA team
- 30-minute video call with Hiring Manager and one other team member
- Final Interview and task with two members of the team
