The Commercial team is at the forefront of acquiring varied, interesting and valuable products and services into Vivup, we are continually increasing the range of commercial partners we work with to deliver more value and breadth across our products and offers in Payroll Pay, Lifestyle Savings, Help and Support and Recognition and Reward.
The difference you'll make, accountabilities and responsibilities
The role of a Commercial Account Executive is to manage and develop these commercial partner relationships. You will be empowered to pro-actively identify commercial partnerships, and with your market awareness, and in collaboration with the team assess their viability. These news products and services, will be adopted by the business for our customers.
- Working closely with the Commercial Manager to devise and maintain effective commercial partnerships
- Developing relationships with all designated commercial partners to maximise opportunities
- Actively source and provide valuable market research to feed into decisions around potential partnerships
- Managing and developing internal routines and processes to allow effective execution of the partnership strategy and resulting project activity
- Reporting on all partnership activities to the Commercial Manager to ensure that strategy and performance remain aligned
- Work alongside the B2B and B2C Marketing Managers to ensure all products and offers are on-boarded and presented on an ongoing basis to maximise a return in terms of client engagement and income streams from commissions, media pack promotions, volume rebates, for example
- Ensure all new products and services are on the correct internal and external platforms and are fully compliant before launch
Who we’re looking for, skills and experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Good standard of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate with external suppliers/customers in a concise way
- Analytical, potentially gained in the assessing products and services within a market, ideally within the retail sector
- Experienced in using systems, such as CRM systems with an ability to run and assess reports on performance metrics
- You will be excited by problem solving, and have excellent planning skills, with a positive approach to team work and willingness to suggest new ways of working.
